The Holy Family takes flight into Egypt in this artifact carved from our Holy Land olive wood. It depicts the event of leaving Nazareth after Joseph was told by an angel to run from Herod. Mary and Joseph's robes have the most detail with their deep folds and points in the fabric. The little donkey chews on a bit of hay while baby Jesus looks content in Mary's arms in this almost folk-art style statue.
